Athletics...is a building block both for the individual and for the society. Its contribution for health and well being can not be over stated. Beyond that, the lessons of teamwork, honest effort, achievement and even defeat are lessons that guide us throughout our lives.
Art...is enrichment-one of the treasures that makes our world a better place. Art-both visual and performing has the ability to touch our hearts and excite our senses and leave us better than we were before.
New Bern High School excels in all 3 disciplines. Yet, we can do better and we will do better. With your help, we will educate and inspire our students in these areas of excellence. They may be your children, your grandchildren, your neighbors children or simply a young person with a wish to achieve. But they are the future. For you and for me. You can count on it!
